The C.A.R.E. story

Ross and Stu collaborated to develop the C.A.R.E. model through their teaching practice. They were keen shake up the education system for the better.

They wanted to help teachers overcome the shortcomings found in the current system. Not by reinventing the wheel, but by developing an intuitive process that built upon what teachers were already doing. Stu and Ross realised that their current curriculum + the global competencies + meaningful learning opportunities found locally could all be combined within the framework as the critical components of deeply authentic and enduring learning.

Agnes provided an informed perspective on the method after Ross and Stu had already successfully field tested C.A.R.E. with several teachers in diverse classrooms. Her teaching background and graphic design skills contributed to bringing the book to life so that C.A.R.E. could be shared with teachers everywhere.
